Still no news… hopefully today before I actually have a nervous breakdown.

So, at what point do I need to seek medical attention for this disgusting cough I have going on?  It’s been hanging out for about two weeks, and has not improved at all.  In fact, I think its gotten worse, as I spend a good 30 minutes each morning coughing up phlegm.  (Sorry if that’s a gross over share).  Also, my nose is now stuffy and congested with the same gross stuff.  I really hate the doctor though, especially if they tell me there is nothing they can do.  That really infuriates me.

LiveFit has about 2 weeks left to prove to me that it is working before I completely abandon it.  My pants are tighter than ever, and while I appreciate the added muscle to my ass and thighs, there’s no way in hell I’m buying new pants.  I did just start phase two and get back from 5 days of no work-outs and eating whatever I want, so it gets a few more days to prove itself.  Otherwise, I’m jumping ship.

I had visions of future married life the other night when I wanted to watch Khloe and Lamar and Darren would have rather killed himself.  We compromised.

He got to play his video game, and I got to watch my show, all while still hanging out together.  I can deal with that.  He even pretended to listen when I was talking to him, despite the noise cancelling headphones.  I tried to play one game, and was killed multiple times within the 3 minutes the controller was in my hand.  I think I’ll stick with Super Mario or Sonic thank you very much.

Having Monday’s off from work always confuses me, but I am in no way complaining that it’s already Wednesday, and next week is March.  Seriously, when the hell did that happen?  Alright, I’m outa here to stare at my phone and will it to ring with good news.  Have a great day!

My New Way to Pack

In exactly one week, I’ll be heading out to the Mid-West for a long 4 day weekend with my boo.  That means, I should probably start packing this weekend.  Or at least do my laundry, so that all my clothes are clean to pack.  With the first three days of weather looking like this;

I’ll probably be packing my warmest sweaters, and giant puffy North Face jacket that Darren wants to burn when I’m not paying attention.  I’m a visual packer though, so I need to see what my outfits will look like once put together, or I end up bringing 15 pairs of shoes, 7 pairs of pants, and 37 tops, for four days.  I need to make sure I won’t hate it when I pull it out of my suitcase.  Luckily for me, I discovered I can pull into Polyvore actual clothing items that I own, and make up outfits.  I have two put together so far, and I for-see a lot more outfit creations in my future.

For example, here’s what I’ve picked out for our dinner and a movie date to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

No, my actual black booties are not Loubs, but you get the idea

That peach blouse may get switched with a newly acquired purple silk blouse, but we’ll see.  Ok, I’ll probably pack both, who are we kidding.  And, if  there happens to be snow in the forecast, this outfit will do nicely for schlepping around outdoors looking at houses.

I suspect this will help me with my over packing problem immensely, and it’s kind of fun!  Anyway, moving on.  After taking last week off to recover from my muscle injury in my back, I hopped right back into week 4 of Phase 1 this week.  You would think my muscles would remember the workouts after only a week off, but no, I am just as sore as I was in the beginning.  Especially in the chest area, why do push-ups never get easier?  I’m excited to start Phase 2 next week, but my lady friends who just started Phase 3 are kind of scaring the crap out of me.  Their workouts sound awful.

Alright, I’m off to go look at houses online, and create more outfits on Polyvore!  Happy Thursday!

My Legs, they’re Broken

You guys, my butt and hamstrings, ouch.  I am hobbling around like no other today, and it’s for sure a flats kind of day.  Yesterday was day 15 of LiveFit, and I’m blaming this little move for my pain today.

Between trying to balance on one leg, and actually do the move correctly, I was struggling.  You would think I’d have better balance after doing gymnastics for so many years.  Anyway, I almost cried getting out of bed this morning, but good news there’s more leg work on Thursday!

So remember that tray of chocolate deliciousness I baked last Thursday?  Well does anyone want to come over and take them away from me, because I can’t stop eating them.  It’s bad, I’m pretty sure I ate anywhere between 7-10 brownies over the weekend, and today it’s no wonder my pants feel tighter than last week. (we’re just going to pretend it’s because I’m pre-period bloated).  If I don’t get myself under control, Darren’s going to wonder who the 400lb woman is who must have eaten his girlfriend, when he picks me up from the airport in three weeks.

Let’s see, what else… OH! I watched the cutest movie yesterday, Secretariat.  If you don’t find movies about animals adorable, you won’t like it.  This one is about a race horse, and I kind of loved it.  It was one of those movies that left me with a goofy smile on my face the whole time I was watching it.  Also, I would now like a horse.

Well, it’s Tuesday and I have a meeting in 30 minutes, followed by another meeting, so today is going to blow.  Anyway, hope y’all have a good one!
