So yesterday after I battled the traffic home, I immediately hopped on the metro to head to Dupont Circle to meet up with my Aunt and cousin for dinner. My aunt was in town for business and my cousin just graduated college and started working in DC full time, so we thought it would be nice to all get together.
Since I’m a creature of habit, and choosing the restaurant was pretty much left up to me, we ended up at The Front Page. It was close to my Aunt’s hotel and right across the street from the Dupont Metro station. I still wasn’t that hungry, but I love food, so I managed to choke down some Calamari and Penne Vodka, and by some, I mean I ate the whole bowl. I didn’t vom after, so that’s good.
The rest of my night wasn’t too excited, I talked to Dar for 14 minutes, which was apparently 14 minutes more than he had given anyone else that day, so I should feel loved and actually put my laundry away in a timely fashion. Typically it sits in the laundry basket until I need the basket again. I was proud of myself.
Before my random Wednesday night on the town, I actually got a lunch time workout in. 30 minutes on the treadmill followed by some chest press with 15 lb dumbbells, and lat pull downs with 65 lbs. I’m getting the speedy showering after down to a science, they key is to not put any make up on after, or to do it at your desk later.
It’s Thursday already, which is cool, and this time two weeks from now I’ll be sitting on my ass at home getting ready for my trip to Chicago. I can’t believe how quickly that trip came up, so exciting! Alright I’m off to some lame ass meeting, catch ya’ll later.

I’m glad you managed to get some food in you. Its about time eh? Hopefully you feel even better today.
in addition to the make-up application at your desk, I’ve learned an afternoon ponytail is your best friend. Hair done in 10 seconds.
Oh that’s a given.
I heart vodka pasta. That sounds delicious. Glad the meds are working to at least help you get some sleep!!
I’m like Darren- I hate phone conversations and rarely does anyone get the pleasure… lol
However, that’s one of the only times I’ll actually put laundry away (as I’m on the phone). So there’s an upside to everything…
Yeah he’s the only one I’ll talk to on the phone, everyone else gets emails or texts.
Glad you’re feeling better!
Agreeing with Amy and Dar here – I hate talking on the phone with my soul.
Are there two front pages? I’ve been eying the one near me, the outdoor seating looks pretty enjoyable.
Yup, there’s the one in Ballston and the one in DC. The outdoor seating is very enjoyable.
I hate the phone too. I’m lucky if I even answer it. So pathetic.
He’s the only person I’ll talk to on the phone haha.
