Why you ask? Because I managed to fix my camera! I had a small suspicion that something in my purse had somehow managed to get stuck and that’s why it wasn’t opening, so last night I got a push-pin and stuck it between the lenses to try to dislodge anything that might be stuck. When that didn’t work, I picked up my camera and banged the crap out of it face down against my counter. Voila! The lens opened. Now, I don’t recommend this method haha but it worked for now.
As I mentioned yesterday, I was taking yesterday off from the gym and running to rest my knee, and I am happy to report it is feeling much, much better today. We’ll see how it feels over the weekend when I go for my run.
Anywho, a fixed camera means pictures yay! Last night my sister and I ordered a Brooklyn Pizza and some french fries.
This pizza was so good, just like my favorite Old Fashioned pizza, but square and across the street instead of 20 minutes away. I may have found a new favorite pizza, I have two slices for lunch today that I am very much looking forward to :). I almost decided against pizza last night, since I’m off to NYC today and typically eat pizza once a day but meh whatever.
Alright, so here’s a funny story for ya. The other night I had a dream that I could do 20 push-ups in a row, not ones on my knees but real ones and it was easy. So at the gym on Wednesday I gave it a shot, haha I did two sets of 5. Definitely not as strong as I dreamt about being, but maybe someday.
Ok, happy Friday everyone! What are you all up to this weekend?

Sometimes it’s just all about the tough love! I had a similar method for an old tv I used to own… ha ha
Oof. Just reintegrated pushups into my routine again. Am reminded of how much i truly despise them. I can do 12, and then I expire.
Hahaha whatever works right? Sometimes you just have to beat the crap outta things to get them to work.
Push ups are HARD! I can do 10 but it takes awhile – and I can’t go all the way down.
That’s awesome! I’m a firm believer that getting violence with technology is very necessary.
ha – congrats on the fix. sometimes all these things need is an innovative solution! 🙂
